Our weekly creative art classes
 

Our weekly classes are a fabulous place to take time for yourself, alongside like minded individuals.  Classes are informative, supportive and fun, and encourage your inner artist to 'play' and explore.  We have watched many of our students flourish in their artistic abilities an confidence.  Topics are usually taught in 2 or 3 week blocks, and dip from one medium or technique to the other, creating an ethos of their being no start or finish, but just lots of learning experiences to try.  Topics that we have covered have included:

drawing skills

watercolour techniques

alcohol inks

acrylics

portraiture

still life

seaweed pressing

making your own textured paper

print making

impressionism, pointelism, expressionism, abstract

composition, tone, light

mixed media collage, blackout poetry collage

and loads more exciting stuff!  We have an art gallery wall at the back of Trove which is 'wallpapered' with work which people didn't take home.  Come and have a look at it, and chat with us about what we do.
