Finding Inspiration in Everyone
Trove is a Community Interest Company. This means that we operate on a 'not for profit' basis, and any profit made goes back into providing workshops and experiences that serve the local community.
In its first year Trove has delivered 144 art classes and various creative workshops to an audience of over 300. Trove provides a welcoming creative space for the community. We work regularly with organisations such as The Point Youth Centre, Span Arts, VC Galleries and Little Grebe creatives. This enables people from different socio economic groups, learning disabled people, people with mental health issues and young people, to engage with the arts.
The venue also provides a base for local groups such as the Ancient Welsh reading group, Singer Songwriters and various clubs. This broad audience helps TROVE to support positive mental health and wellbeing, and builds connections between people more isolated within the community.
